Poem: Lace and Leather

Lace and leather,
soon discarded;
So much more can come of nothing.

A mess of selves,
entwined as self;
Two bodies, one elated being.

A sensual mix of touch and pain,
of sound and visions,
assimilate to give this sweet euphoria.

The moment comes when all is ended,
the lace and leather are again adorned,
And two separate selves shall go their separate ways,
But shall always be a part of that one elated being.
