Poem: Ill Live On

Tears have fallen
Times have been remembered
Never forget me for I'll live on
In the snow of late December
Grief has slowly faded away
Acceptance soon will set in
I'm in your heart still living on
When the miracle of Spring begins
When the Summer finally arrives
And the grass grows greener than before
Just remember my smile, my laugh
For now I'm with you even more
The trees shed their leaves in the Fall
The grass is filled with morning dew
I may be gone but I'll still live on
