Poem: Holding Onto Forever

Everlasting feeling
Held deep inside my heart
Holding onto forever
Never wanting to slip apart
Grasping onto the moment
And never letting go
Remembering for a lifetime
Allowing emotions to overflow
Memories preserved forever
Thoughts passing steadily by
Voices echo through my ears
Images flow about my mind
Slowly into passing
Yet always here within my soul
Without these fond memories
I would never be a whole
