Poem: Before You Leave

I seen myself getting saddened
For I didn't want this day to be
Now I wish on the stars above
That you shall never forget me
With tearfilled eyes I watched you
Sigh as you walked away
Although I'll miss you dearly
I only wished that you could stay
Our friendship will slip apart
And my life will cease to rest
For time has lead you on your way
Since time only sends the best
It will be lonely here without you
I'll miss you more each day
Life will just never seem the same
Once you have gone away
